South Bay Profile

The South Bay includes 16 cities, which borders include the Los
Angeles International Airport (LAX) on the north, the deep-water
ports of San Pedro and Los Angeles on the south, and the 710 Freeway
on the east.
The South Bay industrial market is approximately 270 million square
feet in approximately 5,200 buildings above 10,000 square feet. Compared to
other markets, the South Bay industrial base services a
well-diversified economy with a highly skilled work force within a
concentration of firms oriented toward trade with the Ports of Los
Angeles and Long Beach and/or Los Angeles International Airport.
